Orphan School Assistance
A child's education in Swaziland is not free nor is it required by the government. However, as we all know, education is a key factor for a child to adequately reach his/her full potential and be able to provide financially for themselves in the future. There are fees that need to paid for each of the three school terms throughout the year. These fees vary depending on the child's current school grade and generally are in the range of several hundred dollars USD per year. How is an orphan to acquire those funds? The truth is...they can't. Upon the hardship or death of their parents, they will be forced to leave their education behind and struggle for survival.
Our missionary team has designed an application process for school fee & uniform assistance for orphans. We will be partnering with local pastors to ensure that children are not only receiving assistance with their fees, but they are also getting the support of knowing that somebody cares for them. It's more than just paying school fees; it's letting these kids know they are loved. They have value and a God-given purpose!
